NORTH CAROLINA, USA — President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will travel to Raleigh, North Carolina on Tuesday, March 26 for a campaign reception, the White House announced in a press release.
It is unknown where the reception will take place.
Additional details about their visit to the state will come at a later time, the White House said.
It will be the first visit to North Carolina from the president and vice president since the Tuesday, March 5 primary election. Vice President Harris campaigned in Durham a few days earlier, and President Biden was in Raleigh back in January.
Political experts say voters can expect more presidential campaign visits to our battleground state as we near the November 2024 election.
Former President Donald Trump rallied voters in Greensboro three days before the primary. After Super Tuesday, he remains the top Republican candidate seeking to oust Biden this November.
The White House did not say where in the state Biden and Harris will visit. We'll share more details when more information is available.
