Donald Trump discusses border security, immigration policies and supporting law enforcement in Greensboro

Trump spoke at the Greensboro Coliseum on Saturday.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Former President Donald Trump visited Greensboro on Saturday ahead of the North Carolina primary.

Trump spoke to voters at the Greensboro Coliseum around 2 p.m.

Trump predominately spoke about border security and immigration. He showed his support for Texas' attempts to secure the border.

He touted disproven claims about how the 2020 election was "rigged" for him to lose.

"We are not going to allow them to rig the presidential election of 2024," Trump said.

"I stand before you today, not only as your past and hopefully future president but as a proud political dissident," Trump said.

Trump endorsed Mark Robinson for Governor, Dan Bishop for Attorney General, and Virginia Foxx, Tim Moore and Addison McDowell for Congress.

During the speech, a man in the crowd collapsed. His condition is unknown at this time.

Trump addressed inflation and spoke about plans to give police officers immunity.

He condemned critical race theory, transgender-inclusive policies, and vaccine and mask mandates within schools.

"2024 is our final battle," Trump stated.

Trump won the Republican Presidential primary in South Carolina over the weekend, defeating Nikki Haley in her home state.

Haley said despite the loss, she plans to stay in the race. She and Trump are the two main candidates who remain on the Republican ballot.

The North Carolina Primary is on Tuesday, March 5.
