WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A man accused of committing a string of armed robberies across the Triad is behind bars.

Winston-Salem police said on Thursday, officers arrested Patrick Davis for two recent robberies — one at a Wendy's on Reynolda Road on Jan. 8 and another robbery at O'Reilly Auto Parts on University Parkway on Jan. 12.

Police said in the auto store robbery, the suspect carried a small satchel and implied he was armed with a handgun. They said the suspect then forced workers into a back office before taking off with cash.

Police said Davis received a $100,000 bond and posted bail the next day. A day after that, Winston-Salem police said they arrested Davis again for outstanding warrants in other cities. Investigators said he was charged with additional counts of armed robbery with a dangerous weapon in Greensboro and High Point.

High Point police said Davis was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and assault by pointing a gun during an armed robbery at the Arby's on 2815 S. Maint St.

Then on Jan. 11, High Point detectives said he was charged with an armed robbery at the Dollar General on 5430 Samet Dr. Then, three days later, he robbed the Wendy's on 2619 Eastchester Dr., where he was charged with, possession of a firearm by a felon, and assault by pointing a gun.

We've reached out to Greensboro police to learn more about his charges, but they couldn't provide any updated information at this time.

Davis appeared before a magistrate and was not allowed bond. His first court appearance was scheduled for Monday in Guilford County.

Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 336-727-2800.
