911 calls reveal the suspect could be heard on the call crying.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — 911 calls revealed new details in a Greensboro murder case.

Greensboro police found Brianna Laray Lee, 28, in bed upstairs in a home on Niagara Street with a gunshot wound to the face on October 15.

Lee died from her injuries on Oct. 19. Cheavez Ajee Clapp, 27, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

In the 911 calls, the suspect, Clapp can be heard crying and asking for medical assistance.

He tells dispatchers that Lee was "Just walking on the street and next thing he knew she came rushing in the home into his arms."

He then proceeds to ask the dispatcher what he can do to stop the bleeding.

Dispatchers were able to guide him in covering the wound until police arrived nearly three minutes later.

Police said Clapp and Lee had a personal relationship and this situation was domestic violence related

Court documents show Clapp is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 4.
