Truist leaves Winston-Salem with another office tower to fill

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Winston-Salem may not lose jobs over the decision by Truist (NYSE: TFC) to move employees out of the BB&T Financial Center at 200 W. Second St. 

But downtown Winston-Salem appears to have suffered a setback with Thursday's announcement.

With One Fourth West, downtown Winston-Salem will now have two office towers significantly vacated by banks once headquartered in the city.
