NORTH CAROLINA, USA — A home security company just picked Virginia over North Carolina for a 572-job operation.
Boston-based SimpliSafe, which produces self-installed home security systems, announced plans to invest $5.5 million to establish a new customer support operation in Henrico County, Virginia, in the Richmond metro.
And, according to Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s office, “Virginia successfully competed with North Carolina for the project.” It wasn’t immediately clear where in North Carolina the company was considering.
