Developer plans Triad project with 22 offices/shops, BBQ restaurant

David Morton is heading up the "upscale" development project.

BURLINGTON, N.C. — A Triad businessman has plans for a development with a wide mix of tenants in a fast-growing section of the Triad.

David Morton's plans call for 22 "upscale" shops and offices of 1,200 square feet each and a 5,000-square-foot, free-standing Hursey's Bar-B-Q restaurant on four acres at the northwest corner of South Church Street and Westbrook Avenue in Burlington.

Morton told Triad Business Journal that he also has commitments from a Japanese steakhouse, a real estate office and offices for a doctor and a dentist.
