Completion of needed project may power up construction of downtown Westin

The new transformer boxes are now in operation.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A key component needed for construction of the planned Westin hotel at 203 S. Elm St. in downtown Greensboro has been completed.

David Stoughton, who owns office buildings at 101 and 125 South Elm, just north of the planned hotel and parking deck, told Triad Business Journal that a major relocation of power, gas, internet and cable lines that will serve the new hotel were recently completed.
