When Egger Wood Products decided to located its North American headquarters near Lexington, the Austria-based company knew it would have to be proactive in developing an advanced manufacturing workforce in Davidson County.
To address the need for an initial employment base of 400 when the first of three phases opens in late 2020, Egger executives imported the apprenticeship model the company has deployed at its other 18 plants.
Now this partnership is growing and expanding across the Triad.
