Section of Silas Creek Parkway reopens following crash

A section of Silas Creek Parkway was closed Sunday morning as crews repaired a power pole.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — UPDATE: Police said the road is back open.

A section of Silas Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem is closed for a period of time Sunday morning while a power pole is repaired. 

The city has closed both north and southbound lanes of the 5200 block of Silas Creek Parkway. 

A car crash damaged a power pole, while it's being repaired, drivers are asked to find another route.
