Train derailment temporarily closes Old Walkertown Road, deputies say

FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — Old Walkertown Road was closed between Plantation Road and McGhee Street due to a train derailment, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.

Luckily, no one was injured in the incident. However, deputies said a crane was needed to be brought in.

The road has since been reopened.
