Red Cross leaving the Triad to help those impacted by Tropical Storm Debby

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A nonprofit is sending help to communities impacted by the tropical storm approaching Florida and the southeast. 

North Carolina Red Cross is set to deploy an emergency response vehicle to Dothan, Alabama.

With this vehicle, the organization says it will deliver supplies and support to the impacted region. 

The organization says two local disaster team members will drive the vehicle.

The team is set to leave Winston-Salem around 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
