Samaritan's Purse sending more help to those impacted by Hurricane Beryl

Samaritan's Purse said in total, its deployed three flights in less than a week to the Caribbean.

JAMAICA, — Samaritan's Purse is sending another emergency relief flight to areas impacted by Hurricane Beryl. 

The organization based in Boone, NC said in total, its deployed three flights in less than a week. 

The most recent flight is heading to Jamaica delivering vital supplies to the island as recovery efforts begin. 

Samaritan's Purse said Saturday's flight is carrying tarps and hygiene kits. Also, Disaster Assistance Response Team members are on board ready to distribute materials. 

The organization said, in all, it's helping with recovery efforts across the Caribbean including Grenada, St. Vincent, and now Jamacia. 

“It is heartbreaking to see the devastation across the Caribbean caused by Hurricane Beryl,” said Franklin Graham, president of Samaritan’s Purse. “My prayer is that our Emergency Field Hospital, DART members, and the rest of these life-saving supplies will be a blessing to those who are suffering and remind them that God loves them and that they are not forgotten.”
