A few scattered showers still possible, wind relaxing

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The WFMY News 2 Weather Team has declared a Weather Impact Alert day until NoonTuesday. This is all related to a coastal low pressure system that brought devastating flooding to Southeast North Carolina and beaches early Monday. Here's what we are tracking.

WHEN

Throughout our Tuesday, rain will begin to get more scattered. By this afternoon showers will be scattered but it will not be overly wet.

Wind gusts around 25 mph are still possible, but most of our wind is done. Isolated power outages could result, but we aren't expecting too many of those.

IMPACT

The main impact will be inconvenient weather for our area. This is due to rainfall that has added up to around 1 to 3 inches of rainfall. Be alert for any ponding of water on area roadways if you're traveling around, mainly this morning.
