Weather conditions in Brunswick Co. after coastal rain

Carolina Beach, Southport, Oak Island, and Bald Head Island were all hit the hardest during this storm Monday.

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. — The North Carolina coast was battered with wind and rain on Monday, resulting in widespread flooding to many popular beach towns as severe weather came into the area.

Our WFMY News 2 weather team said coastal cities, including Carolina Beach, Southport, Oak Island, and Bald Head Island were all hardest hit, many seeing between 10 and 20 inches of rain just in this storm alone.
