WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — UPDATE: The intersection has reopened.
drivers may need to take another route in Winston-Salem Sunday morning following a car crash.
The Winston-Salem police department says the intersection of Peters Creek Parkway at Academy Street is shut down completely due to a vehicle collision.
Officers expect the intersection will be closed for a while.
The department encourages drivers to use another route.
