GREENSBORO, N.C. — UPDATE: Greensboro police said the road is back open.
Greensboro police said I-73 is closed in both directions between I-40 and Friendly Avenue due to multiple car crashes involving multiple vehicles and icy bridges Tuesday.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution and use alternate routes.
