ABOUT THE ECLIPSE
The Monday, April 8, 2024, total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. In the U.S., totality will start in Texas and end in Maine. Totality will last four minutes and 27 seconds -- almost double that of the 2017 solar eclipse. While Greensboro won't experience 100% totality, we will still be able to experience a partial eclipse (84% magnitude).
