NC Auditor Beth Wood pleads guilty to misusing state vehicle

RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina State Auditor Beth Wood pleaded guilty Friday to two misdemeanors for using her work vehicle for personal activities.

 A judge sentenced her to 12 months of unsupervised probation.

Friday is Wood's last day as state auditor, she announced her resignation in November amid the indictment.
