GREENSBORO, N.C. — Kerry Washington and Ariana DeBose will visit North Carolina on Sunday to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris, according to the Harris-Walz campaign.
The Harris-Walz campaign said the actresses “will encourage voters to turn out for Vice President Kamala Harris, Governor Tim Walz, and Democrats up and down the ballot.”
Washington and DeBose will both be at the Charlotte Kicks and Fros Canvass Launch and Door Knocking event at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
Washington will attend a canvass launch event in Greensboro at 12 p.m. on Sunday as well.
The actresses’ visit to the Tar Heel state comes just one day after Harris is holding a rally in Charlotte on Saturday. Jon Bon Jovi and Khalid will perform at the rally, according to the Harris-Walz campaign.
Former President Bill Clinton is expected to make a stop in Charlotte on Sunday to campaign for Harris.
Harris’ opponent Donald Trump will also be in North Carolina over the weekend. Trump has plans to visit Gastonia and Greensboro on Saturday and Kinston on Sunday.
With Election Day soon approaching, both Harris and Trump are rallying North Carolina voters in hopes of swaying the state blue or red.
