CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Vice President Kamala Harris will make another campaign stop in North Carolina days before the heated presidential election.

Harris, the Democratic nominee for president, will be in Charlotte on Saturday, Nov. 2 according to an event listing on her campaign's website. The event is set to last from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The listing does not provide an exact location for the Harris event in Charlotte, and a campaign spokesperson did not immediately have any further details to share.

Harris' visit to Charlotte will be her second this week to North Carolina. She is speaking at a rally in Raleigh on Wednesday. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Harris' running mate, will be in Charlotte and Asheville on Wednesday for campaign rallies as candidates continue to appeal to North Carolina voters.

Former President Donald Trump, the Republican nominee, will be at a rally in Rocky Mount, N.C. on Wednesday.

A WRAL News poll released Tuesday shows both Vice President Kamala Harris and Trump tied with 47% of the vote among likely voters. It also shows 4% are undecided, and 2% are likely to go for a third-party candidate.

The State Board of Elections announced Tuesday that more than 3.1 million ballots had been cast. This is slightly behind 2020, which was at around 3.4 million ballots by this point. However, experts emphasize it's hard to compare these years, given the amount of mail-in ballots due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Both are far ahead of 2016's 1.8 million ballots cast by this point.

Early voting began on Oct. 17 and lasts until Nov. 2.

North Carolina carries 16 electoral votes in November's election. Those votes could prove pivotal for Harris or Trump.
