NORTH CAROLINA, USA — UPDATE: Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson is the projected winner of the North Carolina Republican governor primary, CBS reports.
Super Tuesday is here. One of the races at hand is the North Carolina Republican Governor nomination.
Here are the candidates in the running.
Mark Robinson
Mark Robinson currently serves as the lieutenant governor of North Carolina.
Robinson has held the position since 2021.
The Greensboro native has worked in the manufacturing industry.
He has been endorsed by former president Donald Trump.
Dale Folwell
Dale Folwell currently serves as North Carolina Treasurer.
The Winston-Salem native has held the position since 2017.
He has worked as a gas station attendant, motorcycle mechanic, and garbage collector.
He also served as a member of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education and a representative in the North Carolina General Assembly.
Folwell would like to focus on crime and public safety, the high cost of living, school choice, and government transparency and accountability.
Bill Graham
Bill Graham is an attorney.
He is a strong supporter and former board member of The Jesse Helms Center, where he served as Secretary of the Board of Directors.
He would like to focus on fighting crime and improving education.
