Early voting at First Horizon Coliseum will remain open during Trump's Greensboro visit

The campaign event and voting will be held in separate wings of the Coliseum.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Former President Donald Trump will be holding a rally at First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro on Tuesday, Oct. 22. If you made a plan to vote there, this article is for you.

Whether you're attending the rally or made a plan to vote there, early voting will continue to operate from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. as planned, according to Guilford County government officials.

Parking will be designated for voters and curbside voting will continue for voters who can't enter the building.

If you're just there to vote, you will not have to go through scanners. However, if you're attending the Trump rally, you must be rescanned if you leave the event area to vote.

The campaign event and voting will be held in separate wings of the Coliseum. Voters will be unable to cross into the event side.

A 50-foot buffer zone will be maintained from the entrance where no electioneering may occur.

Voters must enter First Horizon Coliseum using the Patterson Street entrance off Gate City Boulevard. Campaign event attendees must enter via the Coliseum Boulevard entrances.

Early voting started in North Carolina on Oct. 17, breaking turnout records on the first day with over 353,000 ballots cast, according to the North Carolina State Board of Elections.

The 2024 general election is scheduled for Nov. 5. If you have not registered to vote yet, you can register to vote and vote in North Carolina on the same day if you vote early.
