ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Donald Trump visited Asheville on Monday, Oct. 21 to view damage from Helene, according to his campaign. The former president spoke around 12 p.m.
In his speech, Trump noted the record early voting turnout in North Carolina. Over 1 million people have already cast their votes, according to the North Carolina State Board of Elections.
Trump plans to make several stops in North Carolina on Monday, according to his campaign. He will be in both Concord and Greenville in addition to Asheville.
Vice President Kamala Harris visited North Carolina earlier in October to meet with state and local officials in the aftermath of Helene.
