Donald Trump to visit Asheville on Monday to view damage from Helene

The former president plans to make several stops in North Carolina on Monday, according to his campaign.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Donald Trump is planning to visit Asheville early next week. His campaign said he “will visit Asheville, North Carolina to see the devastation of Hurricane Helene first-hand.”

The former president will be in Asheville on Monday, Oct. 21, and is expected to deliver remarks at 12 p.m. 

Trump plans to make several stops in North Carolina on Monday, according to his campaign. He will be in both Concord and Greenville in addition to Asheville.

Vice President Kamala Harris visited North Carolina earlier in October to meet with state and local officials in the aftermath of Helene.
