Greensboro firefighters clearing scene of early morning house fire

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro firefighters are clearing the scene of an early morning house fire that caused tens of thousands of dollars in damage. 

A spokesperson for the Greensboro Fire Department said they got the call to the 3000 block of S. Elm Eugene St. around 5:27 a.m. Saturday morning. 

The department said they are still investigating the cause of the fire that caused $35,000 worth of damage. 

28 firefighters responded to the call, according to the department, it was under control by 6:17 a.m. 

No one was injured.
