GREENSBORO, N.C. — UPDATE: All lanes are now open.

A Greensboro street is temporarily closed following a car crash that brought down power lines, according to police.

Greensboro police say West Market St. between Untied St. and West Gate City Dr. is closed until further notice.

The closure comes after police say a traffic crash brought power lines down.

Officers encourage drivers to avoid the area and use another route.

At this time, the department does not know when the roadway will re-open.
