DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — The Confederate monument that once stood in Winston-Salem is now back on display, but in another part of the Triad.
The statue is now at Valor Memorial Park in Davidson County. Crews put it up a few weeks ago.
The monument used to stand outside the old Winston-Salem Courthouse for decades.
It came down in 2019 and had been in storage for years, before handing it over to the park in Denton, earlier this year.
