Caesars Virginia remains on track to open in the coming months.

DANVILLE, Va. — Caesars Virginia is inching closer to opening its doors to guests. The casino resort is on track to open in December.

The $750 million casino resort will be about 45 minutes away from Greensboro.

A temporary casino named Danville Casino is operating while construction on the casino resort continues.

Caesars Virginia will have a full-service spa, pool, upscale bars, lounges, and several dining spaces, according to Caesars Entertainment.

The 320-room hotel is already accepting reservations for guests to stay at the resort beginning in April 2025.

Booking rates for rooms start at $499 and go up depending on when guests choose to stay at the hotel. Rates and room availability may vary based on the actual length of a guest’s stay at the resort, according to Caesars Entertainment.

Earlier in October, Caesars Entertainment announced Multi-Michelin-Starred Chef Gordon Ramsay would open his first restaurant in Virginia, Ramsay’s Kitchen, at the casino resort.

“Caesars Virginia sets the standard for approachable luxury, and I’m so proud to open my first restaurant here inside this beautiful resort,” Ramsay said in a statement. “My longstanding partnership with Caesars has proven to be a fan favorite time and time again. I’m beyond excited to continue that here in the Commonwealth of Virginia by sharing my take on global cuisine.”

Ramsay’s Kitchen will have more than 250 seating options for guests, including a private dining room and outdoor patio, and will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

As Caesars Virginia prepares to open in the coming months, the casino resort is hoping to hire new talent. Caesars Entertainment has over 100 jobs listed on their careers website in Danville, Virginia.

Caesars Virginia is hosting a ‘Mega Career Fair’ on Oct. 30 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Colonnade at Revolution Mill in Greensboro.
