DANVILLE, Va. — Leaders celebrated a big milestone at Caesars Virginia. They held a 'topping off' ceremony for the hotel on Thursday, meaning the frame of the building is complete.
The casino and hotel will open later in 2024 in Danville, about 45 minutes north of Greensboro, NC.
The site will have hundreds of rooms, restaurants, and giant event spaces.
There's a temporary casino that's operating right next door.
City leaders said it's already brought in millions of dollars in tax revenue.
