GREENSBORO, N.C. — A new restaurant is coming to Greensboro after a shooting forced the previous business to shut down.
Peruvian restaurant AJI Fusion has put up signs at the former location of Electric Tequila on Battleground Avenue.
AJI Fusion opened its first location in Roanoke, Virginia in 2019.
The former business that occupied the space, Electric Tequila, shut down after more than 100 shots rang out in a shooting back in November.
Two people were hit by the gunfire and had minor injuries.
Greensboro police have since arrested five suspects involved in the crime.
The owner of the location, Kotis Properties, ended the lease with Electric Tequila after the shooting.
