ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — ABSS has named a new principal for Woodlawn Middle School during Monday's board meeting.

The district named Clarence Garrett, Jr. as he moves into the new role with 19 years of experience.

The change comes after former Principal Thomas Kazimir was charged with failure to report crimes against a child. This was in connection with an investigation into a teacher's assistant, William Jackson, who was charged with assault on a child under the age of 12.
