Woman charged after firing gun at Carver High School football game: Forsyth County Sheriff's Office

Danielle Sierra DeLeon has been placed under a $15,000 bond.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office announced Monday it has arrested a woman and charged her after she allegedly fired a gun at Carver High School following a football game on Friday, Oct. 4.

Authorities say that at the conclusion of the school's homecoming festivities, 26-year-old Danielle Sierra DeLeon presented and fired a gun on school property. No one was injured, according to deputies.

DeLeon has been charged with one county of felony discharge of a firearm on educational property, one county of misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon and one county of common law — go armed to the terror of the people. She has been placed in trhe Forsyth County Detention Center with a $15,000 bail.

“The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office has zero tolerance for this type of behavior during school hours as well as after school activities," said Forsyth County Chief Deputy Henry Gray. As always, our standing is to foster a safe environment for our entire community as well as our students and staff."
