WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police said a shooting on Tara Court led to a drug and gun bust in Winston-Salem.
Two people were injured in a shooting at the apartment complex on Tara Court over the weekend.
Police searched three units and found 5 handguns, 1 AK-47, marijuana, cocaine, and miscellaneous pills.
Officers arrested three suspects tied to the investigation.
19-year-old Edwin Jair Colon-Echeverria was arrested and charged with:
- Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine
- Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana
- Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance
- Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule IV
- Misdemeanor Possession of Handgun by Minor
- Misdemeanor Drug Paraphernalia
- Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana
19-year-old Omar Cisneros-Avila was arrested and charged with:
- Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine
- Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana
- Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance
- Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule IV
- Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana
18-year-old Josue Perez Hernandez was arrested and charged with misdemeanor Maintaining a Dwelling for Use, Keeping, or Selling of a Controlled Substance.
