Man arrested, bonded out days before double murder on Barnes Rd. in Winston-Salem, police say

Winston-Salem police said Ryan Anguiano-Prudente was arrested and charged three days before the double murder on Barnes Road.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A man connected to a double murder in Winston-Salem bonded out of jail days before, according to police.

The Winston-Salem Police Department said on Dec. 6, 18-year-old Ryan Anguiano-Prudente was arrested and charged after evidence was found during a search warrant. 

Anguiano-Prudente received multiple felonies and one misdemeanor:

  • Possession of Weapon Mass Destruction 
  • Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver (PWISD) Scheduled IV Controlled Substance 
  • Possession Scheduled IV Controlled Substance 
  • PWISD Marijuana 
  • Possession Marijuana 
  • PWISD Scheduled I Mushrooms 
  • Possession Scheduled I Mushrooms 
  • Maintain Dwelling 1000' of a School 
  • PWISD Cocaine 
  • PWISD Fentanyl 
  • Trafficking Fentanyl 
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (misdemeanor) 

He bonded out after going before a judge and was arrested three days later for double murder.

On Saturday, Dec. 9, police said 20-year-old Jahir Jimenez-Laredo and 21-year-old Mitzi Saldana-Clemente were found shot to death in a car on Barnes Road. 

Investigators found Anguiano-Prudente and two juveniles walking on US-52 around 5:30 a.m., and another juvenile was found hiding nearby.

The three juveniles and Anguiano-Prudente were taken into custody and charged with two counts of General Murder in connection to the murders.

Anguiano-Prudente is being held without bond.
