Person injured after jumping off parking deck of Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem Fire Dept. says

The person sustained significant injuries, fire officials said.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Winston-Salem Fire Department said a person was injured after jumping off the parking deck of Forsyth Medical Center Saturday.

Firefighters were on the scene around 11:24 p.m.

Fire officials said the person jumped off the parking deck of Forsyth Medical Center and landed on the roof of another building in the complex.

The person sustained significant injuries, was treated on scene, and admitted to Forsyth Medical Center.

Fire officials said six units responded to the incident.
