WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Two men tied to a deadly vacant building shooting in Winston-Salem have been charged with felony general murder, according to police.
Investigators said 23-year-old Danny Isaiah Gadberry and 18-year-old Camren Mahki Poole were charged in connection to a shooting that killed Devonte Michael Hayes on East Devonshire Street back in January.
Police said Poole was already serving time for unrelated charges in the Forsyth County jail but was charged in this case on Tuesday, April 9. Police said Gadberry was arrested a day later.
They are both behind bars without bond.
