WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police are investigating after a man was found dead in Winston-Salem Thursday.
Winston-Salem police said they responded to the 1600 block of W. Northwest Boulevard around 9:30 a.m.
Officers said they found a dead man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his stomach.
WSPD Criminal Investigations Division (CID) responded to the scene and assumed investigative responsibility.
Police identified the man as Brandon Michael Odom, 35.
