Wanted: Man tries to identify as a pest exterminator during breaking and entering

Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office is looking to identify a suspect tied to the break and entering, where he tried to identify himself as a pest exterminator.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — A North Carolina sheriff's office is searching for a break-in suspect who tried to pose as a pest control exterminator.

Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office investigators said a man broke into a home in the East Asheville area. Deputies said before the suspect entered the house, he attempted to present himself as a pest exterminator.

Investigators said he had been seen in the Chunns Cove/Kenilworth/Tunnel Road area.
