1 dead after Greensboro shooting, police say

Police are investigating after a person was shot in Greensboro early Saturday morning.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — One person was killed in an early morning shooting in Greensboro Saturday, police say. 

Officers said they went out to the shooting call on the 1800 block of Dodson Street around 3:50 a.m. and found a person seriously injured from a gunshot wound.

Tyree Jackson 22, died from his injuries on the scene.

Police said everyone involved with the incident has been identified and they are not looking for suspects.
