WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — One man is dead following an early morning shooting Sunday in Winston-Salem. Police have identified him as Justin Brown.
Police say it happened just after 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Around that time officers went out to the 900 block of E. Third St. for a shooting call.
When officers got there, they found Brown with gunshot wounds. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.
The Winston-Salem police department says the Criminal Investigations Divion is investigating this incident as a homicide.
