FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — A man is facing a murder charge Thursday after a death investigation in Walkertown.
Forsyth County deputies responded to the 6000 block of Cain Forest Drive Oct. 27 to find Casey Goolsby, 24, from Walnut Cove, dead in the backyard with multiple gunshot wounds.
Deputies said the investigation revealed Tahlyk Neal, 23, from Walkertown had a confrontation with Goolsby which led to Goolsby being shot.
Warrants were obtained for Neal charging him with murder, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, and flee/elude.
Neal turned himself in to the Magistrate's Office on the outstanding warrants Thursday.
He was held without bond on all charges.
He is set to appear in court Friday.
