Forsyth County Sheriff's Office investigate death in Walkertown

WALKERTOWN, N.C. — The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide in Walkertown. 

Friday evening, around 10:15 p.m., deputies said they responded to a call about someone firing shots on Cain Forest Drive in Walkertown. 

When deputies arrived, they said they found a man with multiple visible gunshot wounds. 

Deputies began administering CPR until Forsyth County EMS arrived. Unfortunately, crews were unable to save the man, and he died from his injuries on the scene. 

Deputies said the investigation is on-going and more information will be released at the appropriate time. We have not heard about any suspects at this time.
