GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Guilford County Sheriff's Office is seeking assistance from the public as they continue their investigation of human remains they found Thursday.
Deputies were originally called to a wooded area near 1465 Alamance Church Rd. in Greensboro. There, they located the skeletal remains of an unknown person.
The only possibly identifying items found with the remains were clothing.
A press release from the sheriff's office said the deceased person was last seen wearing black Levi jeans (size 38W34L), a black WebCo. uniform jacket and size 9 1/2 white Nike low top Air Force 1 sneakers.
The remains are now at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
