GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Guilford County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 caller claiming to have discovered human remains in a wooded area in Greensboro at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Deputies traveled to the area and began an investigation near 1465 Alamance Church Rd. where they confirmed the appearance of skeletal remains.
The sheriff's office is continuing to investigate who the remains belong to and their cause of death.
