Fast-food restaurant robbed at gunpoint

Police said it happened early Sunday morning. They're still looking for the suspect.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A fast-food restaurant was robbed at gunpoint in Winston-Salem early Sunday morning. 

Police said it happened a little after 5 a.m. at the Cook Out on Peters Creek Parkway

They said the suspect went into the business, showed a handgun, and demanded money. 

The suspect took off with some cash, but officers said they didn't know how much. 

Police are still trying to find the suspect.
