HIGH POINT, N.C. — Police have arrested a Greensboro man accused of killing his girlfriend in High Point.
Earlier this week, police identified 29-year-old Shantana D. Bailey as the victim of a deadly shooting that happened over the weekend.
Officers said they were called to the 600 block of Blair Avenue around 4 a.m. Sunday. When police arrived, detectives said they found her dead from a gunshot wound.
Investigators determined this was an isolated incident.
On Tuesday, police said 36-year-old Thomas E. Dargan has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Police said the two were dating.
