US Foods is coming to Lexington, as well as more than 100 new jobs

The new location is expected to bring more than 100 new jobs.

LEXINGTON, N.C. — US Foods announced plans to expand its operations in Lexington, bringing 100 new jobs to the city as a result. 

The foodservice distributor says its US Stock Yards brand operations will occupy a 220,000 square-foot space on Lexington Parkway. The warehouse will store meat products for restaurants. 

It is expecting to open operations in early 2026 and will bring more than 100 new jobs to Lexington by the end of 2027. 

"Davidson County is excited and welcomes U.S. Foods as a new corporate partner in our community, their investment in Davidson County will improve the quality of life for our residents and provide 105 good paying jobs that allow our workforce to grow and better provide for their families,” said Todd Yates, Davidson County Board of Commissioners.
