GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — UPDATE: The power outage has been resolved, as of 4:52 p.m.
Thousands are without power in the Triad.
According to the Duke Energy outage map, more than 7,000 people are without power.
Duke Energy said power is expected to be restored around 5:45 p.m.
