Craig Lancaster hiked in Grayson Highlands State Park in Virginia - just across the North Carolina border - where he got a glimpse of wild ponies enjoying the snow.
Steve Marks also had a snowy scene at his home in Vilas, NC - also near Boone.

Check out their Winter Weather Forecast. While more snow is expected, temperatures are likely to be close to average. On average, the Piedmont-Triad sees about 7-8" of snow in a typical winter.
