GREENSBORO, N.C. — Any threat of severe storms is over for the night in the Piedmont, even though some rain will remain through the late hours. We'll slowly dry out a bit through Tuesday morning, and then we'll have to watch again Tuesday afternoon.
MORE STORMS TUESDAY
We're tracking another chance for severe storms Tuesday. A Slight risk of severe weather is in place for the southern Piedmont, and that's where the best chance of severe weather will be.
Showers and a few storms will be possible early Tuesday but the majority of the activity won't arrive until the afternoon hours.
The main threat from any storm that manages to become severe will be damaging straight line winds, but an isolated tornado can't be ruled out. Remember to stay weather aware again Tuesday and follow along with our team of meteorologists who will track the rain and the storms as they arrive.
